Saab: 84 Saab 900 wont re start after warmed up, vacuum leak, saab 900

Question
I have a 1984 Saab 900 that will start when it is cold but after you warm it up and then try to re start it, it wont until it has cooled off.

Scott:
Sounds like a vacuum leak somewhere. The easiest way to find where is to spray starting ether around all hoses, fittings, etc associated with the intake manifold. Also, it could be a leak in one of the vacuum-operated heater control mechanisms.
A second possibility is a misadjusted mixture...this can be remedied by using a 3 mm hex wrench, placed through a small hole in the airflow body next to where the bellows attaches. Turn VERY SLIGHTLY to the right (cw) to enrich.
A third possibility is a "tired" warm up regulator. I have, in earlier responses, addressed this at length...its an easy fix, but needs precision. Please look through the history.
     Hope this helps,
