Saab: fuel pump, fuel pump, gas leak

Question
I had my fuel pump replaced last month. I get home and the car runs fine until I get a gas leak. I lower the tank and notice that the yellow clip that holds the two gas lines tightly to the fuel pump are broken and there is no way to secure the tubes in with the amount of pressure coming from the pump. Do they sell just the lid/cap to the fuel pump so I can replace just that or should I contact the shop that repaired it to see if they knew hey broke it and see if they will replace it?

Interesting question!  I have never had to buy just the fuel line holding bracket so I cannot be certain..but SAAB usually has excellent parts coverage so suspect you CAN get it. As for me, I would go to a local junkyard and pick one out...frankly I'd never seen one break before so a used one is a good bet.

I tend NOT to argue with mechanics over something small...not worth the aggravation.

Hope this helps,
