i have a 99 saab 9-3, it was runnning perfect i ran into the store and had it runing, came out it wont  start. tryed new plugs, checked fuses nothing happened , could it be the direct ignition? it cranks but wont start, i know im getting fuel to the injecttors i checked. any answers???

Answer
Zach:
It is most likely the ignition system...when something fails so suddenly, a broken or loose wire/connection is often to blame. If that is NOT the case, then of course, you'll need to dig deeper and trace signal flow through the subsystem. I recommend subscribing to the site <www.alldatadiy.com>, ($25/year/vehicle)for absolutely the most complete troubleshooting info I know of, if in fact you are a "do-it-yourselfer".
