Saab: steering wheel, SAAB steering lockup

i have a 91 sabb 9000 and the ignition wont un lock i've tried everything but the key wont turn and the steering wheel is locked i've been told behind the ignition switch you can un hook the reverse switch somehow would this fix my problem

  I am sorry, but my hands on experience is limited to the 900 model SAABS only, so I cannot help you.
I would suggest that you go to the website <alldatadiy.com> where for $25/year, you can get the most complete information on your particular car that I have ever seen.  It's well worth it!!
