Saab: Problem Starting, vacuum leak, fist time

My Saab 2003 9-3 Automatic has a problem starting for the fist time of the day.  It turns over, then stalls and this goes on for about 6-7 more times.  Once it is running it is fine for the rest of the day.  Any help would be appreciated.

  As noted in my profile, my experience is limited to the earlier 900 models only. However, from your description, it seems that either your cold start circuit is somehow at fault (that would usually energize the "check engine"), or more likely, there is a small vacuum leak somewhere. Since I am not personally familiar with your model, I cannot be more specific.
