Toyota: camry suspension, rubber mallet, exercise in futility

Question
Hi,I have a 94 camry and the bushings in the rear suspension arm(Rear lateral control arm),are bad and it really rattles. I took a rubber mallet and hit the bottom of the tire and I can see the play and obvious noise. Is there any way to replace just the bushings or do I have to buy the whole arm($180) at the dealer? And I need 2. Thanks for your help.

Answer
Hi, Steve.

Unfortunatly, you need to replace the arms. To replace the bushing is an exercise in futility. You will destroy the bushing long before you get it into the arm. I have tried it, and, trust me, it is NOT worth the aggravation. Sorry, you need to get the whole arm.
