Toyota: 1997 Toyota Corolla Need to Plug AC in!, toyota manual, toyota corolla

Question
I got ripped off by a dealership when I took my car in for repairs about a year ago. They charged me for parts that they never actually replaced and that I never needed and so on and so forth. Well, they also told me that my AC had broken when they test drove it. So, I just paid them the money and said to forget about getting a new AC unit as it had previously been working fine. When I went in, the AC didn't work at all, didn't even turn on, so I figured it had broken, but never got around to fixing it. Then, come to find out, I pop the hood, and there is my AC plug sitting there UNPLUGGED! So, I'm wondering if there is a simple way I can plug it back in and if you could just tell me how to do it, I would be eternally grateful as I do not want to get ripped off and scammed again. If not, it's ok, and I appreciate your time anyway!
Thanks,
Kristen

Alright, the easiest way to help is if you can get me a picture.  Can I give my personal e-mail?  Umm..  USSS_Agent@hotmail.com

You can send me a picture.

Now, the second alternative is that Toyota doesn't make plugs that can plug into anything else incorrectly.  In otherwords, the AC plug won't mistakingly fit to some connector that may be for your headlights.  So, you can try to see if you can find what the connector plugs into.

The last alternative is for me to give you a link to a Toyota manual that will show you each and every square inch of your AC system.  It's fairly technical so I don't know if you are up for it:)

Hope this helps and I'm sorry that there are jerk technicians and even more jerk delearships.  I always try to steer people towards reputable shops.  Next time, report any busines that's done a BAD job to the BBB (Better Business Beareu, check yahoo.com for their URL).  As well, you can mark the parts that are SUPPOSED to be changed so that way you can see that they have indeed changed the part they said they would.  Finally, you can ask for ALL the parts that were removed from your car.  You must ask at the begining so the mechanic knows to now throw them away before you come.  They are YOUR PARTS, they cannot keep them UNLESS they are for some "core charge" in which you give your old parts (which they fix or rebuild, clean, and resell for a HIGHER price) but you should have all that told to you from the beginning.  If they deny you parts, report them (assuming they do the job and STILL "threw away the parts").

Sorry for the long reply!  But again..
Hope this helps!
