Motorcycle Repair: Yamaha, yamaha 1100, hi mike

I have a Yamaha 1100 Classic and would like to take off the passenger seat.  If I do, That leaves hole in the fender from the removal the clamp.  What can be done about the holes?

Hi Mike.
 Unless the fender is fiberglass or plastic, then there's not much to do about it.  The only option is to replace it with an aftermarket fiberglass fender.

If it is fiberglass or plastic, then there is something you can do.  Get some fiberglass and bondo and patch the holes.

If you don't know how to do fiberglass work, then just get an aftermarket fender and install it.
