Toyota: Gear Ratios (i think), gear ratios, gear ratio

Question
When I am driving on the highway it seems like my car is running at too high of an RPM.  Example, if I am driving 70 on the highway my car is nearing 3500 rpm and if I go any faster its up around 4000... Is this normal? if not, how would you suggest to change it?

Answer
Hello,
Which car do you drive?
The RPM/speed relation depends on gear ratios, I think your car has a short gear ratio, wich means high rpm for low speed, but the car is quicker.
Change this particularity means that you have to change your gear ratio, and this could cost between 1'000 and 2'000$, or even more!
