Toyota: Electrical - headlights, high beams, light bulbs

Question
Recently I replaced the entire headlight assembly for the driver side and spliced the wires on my 91 Celica GT, due to an accident that damaged the hood and driver side headlamp.  At the time of replacement, both headlamps worked - both low and high beams.  Now, I only have passenger side low beam and driver side high beam.  The driver side low beam and passenger side high beam does not work - any ideas to what is causing this please?

well it's difficult without the car there, but check cables to be ok, relays & fuses, and the light bulbs. Otherwise it's a bad electrical connection, the hard part is to find it... you must check all your wiring.
