Hi Paul, I own a '91 six-cylinder Camry that seems to have a problem with the battery. Seems that if the car isn't driven for more than around seven days or so the car won't start and the car will need a boost. This has happened a few times, prompting me to have the alternator and the battery replaced but the problem persists(it has also happened one time while the car was being driven regularly). Do you know what the problem is? Have you heard of such a problem before? Thanks for your help.

sounds like you have a power draw on the battery. something is draining the battery when the car left alone

Thanks for the quick response Paul. Do you know what kind of things would cause this power draw on the battery? Thanks again.

Answer
any electrical system can cause it..... simply put a digital voltmeter on the neg. post and neg wire after disconnecting the neg wire from the neg post. and set the digital voltmeter to milliamps. and start pulling fuses untill you get less than .50 MA
