IS there a fully automatic gearbox for a beetle bug 1974.
And if so, where could I find one?

Hi Dale,

There is not a fully automatic gearbox on the market, per se... However, there is an autostick feature that was available as an option on a 1974.

The autostick allows you to drive with no clutch pedal.  The gear shift would remain in 'first' gear up to 45MPH, and you would simply pull the shifter straight down to 'second' to go faster.

Once you came to a stop, you push the selector back into 'first'.  The car remains in gear when you are at a stop.

It's very simple to drive, and FUN.  I have a 1974 Autostick, and love it.
