Volkswagen: 1975 westfalia has hestitants...chugging, high octane, necessary thanks

I have 1975 westfalia.. when driving a constant speed, there is a hesitation or it feels like a small chug and keeps going..its getting more prevelant. Almost jerky...??? any ideas...thanks

I will need more information to help you out with your situation.

The first thing I would try is a complete tune-up, and run a fresh tank of high-octane through it.

After that is done, let me know how it is running, and we can take it from there, if necessary.
