Volkswagen: 79 bug, homecoming queen, many a time

My daughter is homecoming queen and wants to ride in my 79 conv bug for the parade. What do you think? That is alot of stop&go.I was wondering if that would be to much for the car? Thanks

Hi Leah,

Congratulations to your daughter.  We used my 78 convertible in a parade many a time, and it would be a good change for the car!  

Just make sure no one sits on the convertible top while it's folded down and moving.  It's not only unsafe, it could bend the framework.
