Volkswagen: which fuse is for the radio?, amp fuse, fuse box

We have a 1998 vw bug and the radio is not working. We think the fuse is blown, but looking at the pictures on the fuse box related to the fuses, we can not figure out which one is considered the radio. None of the pictures look like a radio or what would be sound system. What picture would it be? We don't have a manual unfortuneately. Thank you.

Hi Sherylee,

You are going to have to check your owner's manual for the location of the 30 AMP fuse.   

If your radio isn't working, it may be in 'safe mode'.   That will require punching in the code that is in your owners manual.

If you happened to have lost that code, it is also located on a white sticker on the inside of your spare tire.
