Volkswagen: Rear Turn Signal Replacement 2004 Beetle, turn signal, tail light

Hello!  I am trying to replace my rear turn signal in my 2004 Beetle, but the manual just refers me to VW.  Any idea how I get to the bulb to replace it myself?  Thanks!
