Volvo: adjusting headlights, adjusting headlights, headlight alignment

Question
How do I adjust the low beam headlights on a 1985 240 DL? Where are the adjusting screws?

Answer
Sarah,
Look at the light straight on behind the chrome headlight door you will see two long screws that are attached to the head light bucket (That is the part that holds the bulb)and continue to the rear metal plate. It might be easier to remove the headlight doors. Those are the adjusting screws. One screw is on top and one on the side. Easiest to adjust at night if you do not have a headlight alignment tool. Adjust the lights to see the road and then toward the curb. The curb side showing further down the road.
