Volvo: volvo s80 transmission trouble, volvo s80, 2000 volvo s80

I have a 2000 volvo s80 that has been a really good vehicle. she has 135k miles and has now been diagnosed with a transmission that's shot! i'm debating whether i want to replace the vehicle. please note that i drive approx 154 miles a day roundtrip. please advise.

With the amount of driving that you do other things are also worn or wearing out. I really would consider replacing the car. If that option seems to costly remember that a trans installed will run about $5000.00. That is a down payment, right?
