Volvo: 2001 s60 2.4 with 75000 miles, throttle position sensor, electronic throttle

Question
I just recently purchased a 2001 S with a 2.4 engine with 75000 miles.  Right after I bought the car I noticed that the car would hesitate when I would pull off from a dead stop.  It doesn't do it everytime. the transmission shifts perfectly.  Is it a problem with the trans or possibly a throttle position sensor.  There are no fault lights on the dash.  Please help i love the car.

Answer
Jeff,
The hesitation is most likely to come from the "Electronic Throttle Housing". There are some software issues that may need to be updated. Call your local dealer to see if they can run some tests on your cars throttle software and or if yours falls under a update. Have your VIN ready.
