Cuts off while driving.  Will restart, but just cuts off any clues

Yes you need to see what you are missing! Put a fuel pressure gauge on it and when this happens see if you loose fuel pressure. You might also loose pressure if the pump turns off. That could be the pump, the pump relay. Also test the pre pump in the tank to be sure that it is working. Replace what ever fails and test drive to be sure. If you are in doubt replace it...
