Volvo: 91 740 Turbo Transmision Fluid, dextron iii, old gal

Hey Ray, Whats the best automatic transmision fluid to use in my 100,000 mile 740 turbo short of the Volvo fluid? Also should I add a conditioner at this point? If so, do you have any recomondations? Also rear end oil whats best at this point in time a for re-lube ?   This old Gal runs great. I just want to keep her that way for another 100 thousand or so..............Thanks so much for your Help! I appreciate all the help you provide.!   Ed

Have the fluid flushed with the machine that will exchange all of the fluid. Most times these systems have additives that they use. I use the BG flush machine and their additives. The correct fluid is Dextron III, any good oil manufacturer will work. I also use the synthetic oils that BG has for rear axle oil. However you can have it changed and use good oil made for the rear axle 80W90. It could not hurt to change all the fluids, good idea. Try http://www.bgprod.com/home.html
