Volvo: S70 P0102, volvo code, code language

Question
I have 98 s70 which would start hard and gave a P0102 code. Unplugged the MAF and it runs fine.  Purchased a new MAF, measured the output with key on, ~ .2V, barely ran but MAF output looked fine.  Seem to be running waaaay rich. Reset code, disconnected battery.  Tried to run for a while to get the computer to re-learn.  What else do I need to do or what other problem may I have?????

Answer
Paul,
The code you provide is for the MAF. Make sure that the one you have is the correct one. You can pull out the control unit for a couple of hours or overnight to allow it to "recenter" itself. If all that fails try reading all the codes using a scanner that will read the Volvo code language to see if there is a code that you are overlooking or have missed. Look and make sure that all the wires are tight and clean the contacts with cleaner. Also is the arrow on the MAF facing in the direction of the air flow? Just double check that also.
