Volvo: CD problem, 2001, s80, cartrage, dics

QUESTION: I inserted a CD into the player and it stuck inside. The error  message is on the screen. I can switch between all 4 disks (4 disc changer), but result is the same, can't eject any of them. I suspect that I pushed a little bit harder than I should have and there was a disc inside the changer. How to remove a CD player and a СD? Thanks in advance.

Try slipping a credit card size card under the disc cartridge some have a catch there to release it.

QUESTION: I have already tried it, but same result. I believe I need to remove the whole console and see how to release a CD. Do you have any advise how to open the console to reach CD player? Does it have any codes to pay attention to? Thanks.

Any time the cartrage is stuck as bad as the one you have, the next step is to replace the unit. I have never taken one apart to attempt to remove the stuck disc. The dealer can send the unit in to have the dics removed. Attempt the removal if you feel sure you can take it apart, be careful as to where all the pieces go.
