hi ray, is there a way to install the head without having to buy all the tools.its about 700.00 for all of them.thanks jeff

At the very least it is tricky. You have to line up the cams in number one TDC position by eye. Make sure that you are on TDC with the crank, install the head and just hope that the tightening the cam cover will bring the cams down without snapping the cover. Now I have heard that it's possible to do, however you could be slightly off with the cams, but not seriously off. I mean a few thousands perhaps. The cam gears have elongated holes so you can't use them as a guide for accuracy.it worked good motor sounds good.thanks jeff
