Volvo: 1991 240 DL stalls with foot off gas, vacuum leak, mass sensor

Hi.  I have a 1991 240 DL that was running very rough including stalling when accelerator was pushed to accelerate with continuos check engine light.  I changed Air Mass sensor and seemed to correct problem but recently car stalls unless I keep constant pressure on foot pedal.  When problem with stalling started check engine light came on.  Thoughts?

See what codes are in the system. Follow the codes and see if that will led to the fault. Insuficient fuel pressure, leaking pressure regulator, large vacuum leak, clogged throttle plate, bad wires or sprk plugs all are possibilities. The reading of the codes might help narrow the search.
