How would i know if my car is affected by the brake pump recall?

Defect: The brake vacuum pump may fail and cause a reduction in brake servo assistance. This will make the brake pedal heavy to operate.
Action: Fit a modified brake vacuum pump.
Launch Date: 14 May 2002
   All vehicles may be affected, call your dealer and supply them with your VIN number. They have all the affected VIN numbers and the years needing replacement,
