Volvo: 1997 850 GLT Wagon, volvo dealer, hardware kit

Question
I get severe vibration that seems to engulf the entire body of the car when braking. Doesn't seem to matter if you go easy on the brakes or apply full pressure. Also doesn't matter if you are stopping from 25 mph or 65 mph.
Perhaps you've heard of this problem before?
Any suggestions on what to check? Should i just take it to the nearest Volvo dealer and let them test drive it?
Thanks in advance,
Dan

Answer
Dan,
If the vibration is just as the car is coming to a stop, then I would say that the rear pads and rotors along with the spring and pin hardware kit should fix the problem. Generally you can with some careful listening detect the noise and vibration coming from the rear area of the car.
Yes the dealer should be able to fix that problem.
