Volvo: volvo, system test and diagnosis, tune ups

Question
recently I've noticed that my 2001 s60 volvo seems to be lagging, it gave me issues when i tried to start it after i went grocery shopping it started but then chugged a little then shut off. At first i thought it needed gas, i was low, but since then it has happend again twice and i had plenty of gas. the car has 110,000 miles on it do you think it just needs a tune up or scheduled maintenance.

Answer
Thomas,
I think that there is a possible fuel system problem that will require a system test and diagnosis. At that point the tech can advise you more clearly. You only need tune ups every 30 thosuand miles, so how long has it been? Did you also miss other scheduled maintenance? Fuel filters air filters, plugs, have they been done?
