Volvo: car will not start all the way, volvo 850, fuel pump

today i went out to start my 93 volvo 850  and all it does is act like it wants to start, but never catches. The battery is fine. Whats wrong with it

it's impossible to say what it could be, it could be "no spark" (first thing you check), a fuel problem, (failed fuel pump) or in tank pump, check fuses, i'm not saying that this is what the problem is , it could be a dirty and /or damp dist. cap/wires, if the car hasn't been tuned up, worn spark plugs can cause this
