Volvo: 1995 volvo 850 flashing arrow, climate system, intermitently

I have a flashing arrow and check engine light. My car goes into limp in mode, but this happens periodically over a year.  One day the arrow doesn t flash and the car runs perfect, then it will start up in limp mode.  I replaced the PNP switch and it still blinks. I also tried moving the automatic up and down 15 times fast.  The Dealer pulled codes 222, 232, and 322. Basically quoting me a new transmission. I thought this could be an electrical problem.  they diagnosed it last week, and now the arrow is off and running fine. My radio and my climate control come off and on intermitently as well.  sometimes the internal lights on the shifter, radio and climate control will also be glitchy.  could this all be something electrical? if these are seperate problems could you let me know if the radio and climate is a simple relay?

The dealer may have cleared the codes that were stored and now without any fault cods stored the trans is working just fine. The codes they pulled show that there is a circuit or wiring short inside the trans at one of the solenoids. They are replacable, however that trans has shown many pass problems and that might be the reason for their wanting to do a complete trans. See if you start by putting the new solenoids in and the same or another problem occures it is a waste of time and money. The last trans lasted all these years so a new or exchange unit would likely give you good service. Also with a warranty.
If you are having an intermitent problem with the climate and radio, you might have a loose connection somewhere behind those units. There is not a relay that is used to service these two systems together. There is a power stage that is part of the climate system, but has nothing to do with the radio. Since they are close to each other maybe the power wires are loose. The grounds are also a possiblity, check those out as well. The grounds should be in the power relay box.
