Question
I have an 2001 s80. Our keyless remote is not working so we have been locking the door with the key. It all of a sudden stopped locking and unlocking the door. Now our gas door is locked and we can't get into that either. The automatic unlock button on the door also won't unlock or lock the door though. The key still works in the ignition and with the trunk lock. We have tried changing the fuses and that hasn't helped.

Hello Diane! There may be a fault in the Upper electronic module (UEM) or the drivers door module (DDM) Or both. It is best to have the dealer check it out for you. Special tools and software is needed. Only a dealer or a Volvo specialist will know how to diagnose it.
