Volvo: pressure and smoke from dipstick, air intake hose, flame trap

Question
Hi I have a 94 volvo 850 and i noticed pressure and some is coming from the dipstick. Some one told me it could be the rings or the flame trap is clogged. Where is the flame trap on this model. do you have any diagram or web site that can show me exactly where to locate the flame trap.

Hello! It is best to replace the engine breather box and all lines leading to it. It is probably clogged. Also, replace the flametrap. The breather box is located under the intake manifold and the flametrap is located in the air intake hose. I would sugggest repairing it soon before you start to damage oil seals!
