Volvo: starting, electronic chips, time dean

Question
Hi i have an 850 R 96 model. it is in perfect condition apart from this, never missed a service and well looked after. It will start fine, but once you turn it off it wont start again for about half an hour. Volvo dont know what it is. Could it have something to do with the immobiliser? or maybe the computer? or could it even be the electronic chips in the keys? Thankyou for your time! dean

Answer
Hello,
please check when it can not be started, if the car is "chocked" or not. I mean when it can not be started, remove the sparkplugs and check them, they are wet or not. I think the car is chocked, because of this reason it can not be started. The sparkplugs are right for this car? Or what about fuel pressure? Fuel pump may have problem, if it gives more fuel, the car is chocked. Firstly be sure about them, after that we can speak more. In my opinion it is not related with immobiliser.
