Question
I don't know if you remember me. I ask you about my car's poor acceleration and you told me that it would be benificial if I have my electronic throttle module cleaned. I don't know if you received my follow up question. I received a reply but could'nt read it coz there's no reply at all. Anyways I asked you if you can tell me where is it exactly located and if you can tell me how I can clean it. Thanks for taking the time in reading this question Vedat.

Answer
Hello,
It is located near to inlet manifold. You can find it easily. Its shape is rectangular. You can use "fuel" while cleaning it as "cleaner". Following you will find the procedures to clean the ETM Electronic Throttle Module.

Clean the throttle body (TB). Use cleaner and a brush. Ensure that all deposits are removed from the surfaces.
Carefully wipe the inside of the air duct clean on both
sides of the throttle disc. Wipe clean the edge of the
throttle disc.

Flushing and checking the throttle body (TB)
Flush the throttle body (TB) using cleaner on both
sides of the throttle.
Check that there are no deposits remaining on the air
duct or on the throttle disc. Any remaining deposits can
cause a new build up of deposits.
Repeat the procedure if necessary.
Install the throttle body (TB).

Best Regards,
