4 Wheel Drive/SUVs: warm truck:::::???, brother inlaw, must be a reason

Question
what will happen to a brand new truck if you don't warm it up, before driving it off.we live in wisconsin.
my brother inlaw does not warm his truck up first
and its cold out side and no garage

Answer
Water will condense in the exhaust system and the intake system until the engine is warm..No immediate problem other than stalling and smoking, but not good for the vehicle in the long run.  Look at the check list a pilot uses before he even starts the engine, must less taking off.  Must be a reason.  Thanks for the question.  Best of luck, Bud
