Suzuki: 1988 suzuki samurai, suzuki samurai, blown fuse

hello thanks for your time I have a 1988 suzuki samurai witch was running great hit a big pot hole and the postive cable came off and killed everything. found a blown fuse and replaced it it restarted but now will not idle..runs as long as your on the gas any help would be great before i sell it

There is an idle circuit cut solenoid on the carb which shares power with the ignition coil and other devices that are ignition switched.  It may have come unplugged, or a wire may have broken.
You can find it in the emission control wiring diagram in the owner's manual.

Note:  I am working off of my memory based on my '87 sammi, but I believe they are virtually identical.
