Suzuki: 1986 samurai losing spark, ecu module, waste money

Question
I have an 86 samurai that starts up fine and will run for approximately 5 or 10 minutes depending on outside temperature, then it will just die like its losing spark, I don't hunk it is a fuel problem because it doesn't sputter like a fuel problem. I replaced the plugs wires cap motor button and the ecu module under the dash.. its still doing this, any ideas? I am getting ready to order a distributor but there is also a control module and thy are both pricey and don't wanna waste money.....please help me out

Answer
The distributor is independent of the ecu under the dash.
When it dies, you need to verify that there really IS no spark.
Be very certain that all the connections at the battery are good, clean and not corroded.  That has caused me problems in diagnosis far too many times to count.
