Tips on Buying Cars: Manufacturer Car Warranty, factory warranty, car warranty

Question
I am looking to purchase a vehicle, either a 2005 or 2006 yr mdl.  But I have come across a question that I would like some assistance with.  The sticker on the window says "As IS, No Warranty", but on the dealership website, the ad says "Balance Remaining of Factory Warranty" . Does this mean the remaining warranty would be valid or void?
Also, I ran a carfax report and the veh comes back as a Fleet/Rental vehicle.  Would this affect any remaining warranty?  thanks for your assistance my/zip code is 57104

Answer
Hi Phillip
The vehicle will still have Factory Warranty providing its within the allowed mileage...

However the dealer has decided to sell AS IS which means re-condition cost becomes your expence, and vehicle could need work thats not covered under warranty...example...wear and tear, Tires- Brakes etc.

As for buying a Rental i think its a good move , check out my website  http://www.usedcartips.org/  and click on   WAS THIS A RENTAL...
Have a good day, and i will be here should you need help getting a good deal
