Tips on Buying Cars: Volvo purchase, average life span, 2000 volvo s70

I am considering buying a 2000 Volvo S70.
the mileage on all the cars that i have found are in the 60-90K on up range. The S70 is my favorite model & I am looking for something that i can pay cash for & that will last for a few years. What your advice on buying a high mileage Volvo ?
