Tips on Buying Cars: info on used SUVs, info thanks, consumerreports

I'm shopping for a used SUV (model year 2001-2005) and am looking for a site that would have the info that's most important to me -- safety, reliability, and mileage -- and ideally let me compare between models.

I've had some luck at sites like Edmunds.com and Cars.com, but no one place that has all the info I'm after.  With so many makes and models (not to mention the different years) to choose from, I need some sound, unbiased advice.

Please let me know of any good web sites or other sources where I could find this info.  Thanks in advance.

you can get some information at www.consumerreports.org very good info...I do not know how much info is free, but give it a try. If you are willing to spend $19.95, you can get full access...Any other questions do not hesitate to ask!
