Tips on Buying Cars: Buying question, moon roof, sun roof

Question
Dear Steve,

I'm looking into buying a used car, and I was wondering if you could offer a bit of advice. I've always really wanted a Mustang, and I'd really like to have a convertible. I want to be practical about this, though -- I live in Massachusetts, and I want to make sure that whatever car I get is going to be able to handle itself well enough in the winter as far as traction and everything. I'm single and I don't have a need to lug around a lot of cargo, so I don't need a very big car. My other concern is with the convertible factor -- does the car lose a lot of heat that way? What (if anything) can I do if the roof starts to leak? What else should I take into consideration when buying? Also, if you don't think this would be the best car for me, can you make any recommendations as to what would work a little better? Thanks!

Faith

Answer
Hi Faith,
I live in Florida, and i am NOT  a big fan of convertibles...They are noisy, they do leak and yes they will not retain the heat or cold real well..What is your budget? How about a nice car with a sun roof (moon roof)?   I like an Acura 3.2 CL for example..Please tell me your budget and i will try to amke some suggestions...
