Tips on Buying Cars: pontiac montana sv6, chrysler minivans, crash worthiness

Question
We want to buy 2005 Montana sv6 but my friend told me the those cars have problem with some antifrize or something is getting into oil into engine is this true. For what I should look when I am buying a use car

Answer
I don't want to say that this is the worst minivan you can but- you can certainly do better.  It's not unusual for GM engines to leak coolant into the oil (due to bad head gaskets), but my bigger concern is with the crash-worthiness of the vehicle.  The Montana (along with the Chevy Venture, the Buick Terraza, and the Saturn Relay) has among the worst crash-safety test ratings of almost any vehicle on the market.  I'd look at the Chrysler minivans, or the two highest-rated minivans on the market:  the Toyota Sienna or the Honda Odyssey.
