Tips on Buying Cars: torn between two autos, luck steve, extra money

Question
Steve:
I am considering buying a newer car. I am interested in the 2002 Pont. Grand Prix. I am debating between a GT and SE. I have driven the GT and loved it. It is all decked out. My question is: is the $3000.00 extra for the GT over the SE worth it? If so, how? I find myself trying to justify spending the extra money, but my practical side says buy the SE and save the money.
Also, the dealer offered a specific price for my trade in when talking about the GT. If I decide for the SE, should I expect him to lower the offer for the trade in or is this considered unethical? Any help in this dilemma would be appreciated.
Thank you:
Mike

Answer
Is it worth it...That is up to you. If you love the GT what did you think of the SE? Remember you will be driving the vehicle a long time. If you really liked driving the SE also, save the money, but the dealer should give you the same money for your trade, if not back out....You should have kept the transactions separate, but no matter, if you know what they want for the SE, and he comitted to a trade in price hold him to it, you probably will not have a problem...Let me know the outcome and GOOD LUCK!
