Tips on Buying Cars: Jeep Cherokee, jeep cherokee, fair deal

Question
I am looking at buying a 2001 Cherokee from a dealership.  It has about 50,000 miles and he is selling it for $10,000.  What do you think of this deal.  Also, I have not looked much at Jeeps before.  Is there anything I should be wary of.  What should I expect with a cherokee.  I am writing from Grand Rapids, MI.

Thanks.

Answer
Hi Jason
You mean dealer is asking $ 10.000 before negotiation...I cant really comment on the price...is it a 2 or 4 door...grand or LTD...GO autotrader.com for your area and compare prices to make sure your getting valid value...
I cant say anything bad about Cherokee's...except they love GAS but so do other SUV's in that size range...
My expertise is really trying to have you get a fair deal and a vehicle that you will be happy with...go to my old website   www.usedvehiclefacts.ca and click on...Test Drive...Accident...and take to mechanic...etc...
Jason..if you find a vehicle on the net you may consider...copy and paste me a copy if you like some input before buying
Now you have a great weekend
