Tips on Buying Cars: buying my first car, acura rdx, first time buyers

hi I'm 20 years old but never had a car. i have always liked crossovers or suvs. i have never liked little cars. i wanted to know if its a good i idea to buy or lease a brand new car like a 2009 acura rdx or a murano. I'm afraid that it will cost allot in the insurance.

Thanks for your question.  More than likely you will need one of two things before you can purchase that type of vehicle.  One would be a considerable amount of money down, or a co-signer.  Here is why.  At your age, you do not have enough credit history established to purchase a vehicle by yourself.  Especially in the market that we are in currently, they (the lender) will not want to take that big of a risk on you just yet.  That is why most first time buyers are required to be on very inexpensive new vehicles.
