Tires: 2006 Scion xA tire pressure, scion xa, cold temperatures

Question
I  replaced all tires with -  Falken  ZIEX  ZE912 -  185/60R15 two months ago, and just got around to checking the tire pressure for the first time and it is 22 in the front and 18 in the back. The owner's manual states pressure should be 29.
Can you please tell me what the tire pressure should be at? I don't know if the tire place made a mistake or if I have lost that much pressure...
I look forward to your response!

Answer
Maria,

The pressure should be 29 psi.

You should be aware that in winter weather, the cold temperatures will cause the pressure to go down - and when it gets hot outside, the pressure will go up - about 1 psi for every 10°F.

But you may have another problem - leakage, so I would suggest you check the tire every week until you are satisfied that the tires aren't leaking.
