Tires: DOT certificates for new Bias Tyres, tyre factory, south east asia

Dear Smith,
How are you! Nice to meet you on line.We are small tyre factory from Union of Myanmar ( Previously Called Burma ) from South East Asia near Thailand.We set up this Bias Tyre Factories last year and now we are manufacturing Bias tyres of 12"~16" sizes.Now,we want to export our tyres to Malaysia and the buyer ask to register for DOT certificate.In that case, can you help for us or give advice for this procedure.I will have some other technical questions later also.

First, this type of question doesn't fit well into this format, because the answer is quite technical and long.  So I'm going to give you a start and suggest you contact me in another way.

Advice?  You need to hire someone familiar with the US DOT regulations.  They are complex and not at all clear.  You can get a start on this by referencing the regulations.  Here's a link to one of them:

In essence, they have asked you to stamp the letters DOT on the sidewall, and in order to do that, you need to comply with the regulations.  As you can see, this is not easy to understand and will require a bit of work.  But if can be done.
