Tires: wobbly tires vibration at acceleration, plymouth voyager, lugs

Question
I have notice for several weeks(I just had brake fixed) that when I accelerate(not flooring it) at approximately 40 and up the car violently vibrates and if I let up and do it a bit slower it is okay. I never know when it will happen. Also I hear a knocking when I am braking that I can really hear when the car is getting ready to stop.  A lady pulled me over today and said my tire was wobbly.  She didn't say which one. 96 Plymouth voyager with 150,000 miles. thank you

It is possible that a wheel is coming loose, but it is also possible that something is broken.

First look to see if you can tighten up the lugs nuts - do that TOODAY!  If you can, than get them as tight as you can.  then take it somewhere to get them properly torqued.

If not, then take the car and have someone look it over - TOMORROW!
