Tires: Firestone Tire FR170, firestone tire, brand preference

Hi David - getting ready to replace 4 tires on my 2001 Mazda 626. Tire size:205 55 16. Was going to purchase Firestone Fr170's but see mixed reviews. Can you offer advice on the quality of the tire? Thanks

Do you perhaps mean the Firestone FR710?  I note that the FR710 has received very few reviews on 'The Tire Rack' web site...an indication of low sales volume.  The FR710 is in the category of "Passenger All Season" tires and I've provided a link from The Tire Rack of other consumer reviews of the same category tire for you to look at and review.  
As an expert on this site, I should remain 'neutral' on brand preference as I've worked for several tire manufacturers in the past (I might be biased!).
