I need to buy tires for my 2005 Ford Explorer EB 4x4 V8 model. Can you recommend a couple of tires and what size I should get?

My research shows that your vehicle comes with a P245/65R17 tire size.  It's always a good idea to double check this against the tire placard located on the frame of the driver's door.

I see that the vehicle is 4WD.  I'm not sure what type of driving you do so I will make four tread design & two brand recommendations.
